Shadow ensembles run on people power, and even moreso, on PARENT POWER.  As a result, all families are expected to participate in a reasonable amount of fundraising activities and summer volunteering.  Some families can participate more than others, but all families are expected to contribute.

Our Tours (whenever we're on the road) are the most intensive time of need for volunteers to feed, supervise, drive vehicles, build and move props, and travel with our members.  Parents and family members please visit the Volunteer page under Support at and sign up for everything for which you are capable/available.  You'll have a blast and the members' experience will improve because of your involvement.

When you complete your online registration form, you’ll check the Contract Agreement box, certifying that your family will do their best to participate in these activities in good faith, as time and circumstances allow.  You’ll also be asked to do the same with a signature on the Fundraising and Volunteer Acknowledgement in this packet.  Don’t let it scare you; all we ask is that you do your very best to support the kids as they pour their hearts and souls into this activity.

All Volunteering at Shadow is coordinated by the Oregon Band Boosters, INC.
