SHADOW DRUM & BUGLE CORPS
Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps traces its roots back to 1972 and a band called the Oregon High School Summer Marching Band. For 43 years, Oregon took the field each summer, entertaining audiences and leaving young people better than it found them. Oregon is proud to call hundreds of alumni family, and in turn they are proud to lay claim to the ensemble and it's heritage. Today, the staff and members who built and nurtured the band for more than four decades are excited to add another chapter to the Oregon story; today, we are Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps.
Far from a fresh-faced corps at the beginning of its life, Shadow is already a vibrant and successful ensemble. Because of the unwavering support we receive from the Oregon School District and the Oregon community, our DCI debut in 2016 featured professional-level equipment, staff, and facilities. With decades of experience, an army of supporters behind us, and a bold vision for the future, Shadow continues to surprise.
